Luxury wine estate in the heart of the Languedoc

A wonderful stay in a stunning chateau

We really loved our stay at the chateau, the building and grounds were so beautiful. We rode bikes, played tennis & swam in the beautiful pool. The breakfasts were great and the dinner we had at the restaurant was delicious. Our daughter’s favourite thing about the visit was going to pat the farm animals every morning with Marylou the farmer. She was so delightful and friendly. She was very kind to our children and took the time to explain how the farm worked and all about the organic produce they were growing. We wished we could stay longer.

Absolutely outstanding place to stay

The hotel is just perfect, tucked away a short drive from the beautiful small town of Capestang, the approach to the chateau takes your breath away, particularly if like us you arrive with the sun beating down from a blue sky. The area and grounds of the chateau are beautiful with superb views over the Minervois and in the distance the Pyrenees. The staff can make or break a property and the staff at the Chateau from the farmer looking after the mini petting farm (great for kiddies) to the reception team and waitress and waiters were all so very warm and friendly. 

Stylish and relaxed

First stay here since before the pandemic and hopefully more to come. We stayed at No 22, a beautiful & well equipped property with 3 double en suite rooms and its own pool. It was perfect for our group. The grounds were stunning at this time of year, and we made full use of the infinity pool, petanque, table tennis & tennis. While all amenities and services are of a very high quality, there is a very relaxed and informal atmosphere. Would definitely recommend
